Toronto's Randolph Theatre, a 500-seat venue at 736 Bathurst Street, occupies a former Gothic revival church. Adjacent is the Annex Theatre, a 100-seat venue within the same complex.

 

The 3rd Earl of Bathurst, Henry Bathurst, had Bathurst Street named after him by Sir Roger Hale Sheaffe. The famous American novelist and journalist Ernest Hemingway lived on Bathurst Street while working as a reporter for the Toronto Star, a major Canadian newspaper between 1923-24.
