Toronto's Distillery District
The District's history begins with an 1832 windmill, eventually leading to the once-famous Gooderham and Worts Distillery. Despite closing in 1990, film productions and urban renewal resurrected it.
Around 20 years ago, developers turned some old Victorian buildings into what is known as Toronto's Distillery District. Since opening in 2003, it quickly became a Toronto hub for arts, culture, and fun. Imagine a historic vibe with cool shops, cozy cafes, and awesome restaurants.
Today, it's a vibrant hub where history meets creativity. Take a relaxing walk along the brick paths, enjoying a blend of historic buildings and a vibrant atmosphere.
